Our History

Asetos Computers has been in the IT industry for over a decade. We can trace it’s humble beginnings in a tiny room in Johannesburg CBD next to Carlton Center. Over the years, we’ve been engaged in offering IT related services and products touching on all areas of computing. From hardware repairs, desktop support and networking to custom software development and Linux server support. We have continually increased our product range offering and widened the scope of services we offer as we gun for the position of being the “Numero Uno” in offering ICT support services.

Established a laptop repair business in a small room at 49 Kruis street in Johannesburg CBD. It was a one man show operating with very basic tools and equipment but with a lot of passion and dedication. The business thrived and demand was great but with the growth came a multitude of issues. Security became a concern including for clients & their equipment. We had to rethink strategy.

In 2013, we switched from computer repairs to offering IT support services to small businesses and also established an online store for sale of laptop replacement parts.

Established our first physical store to cater for growing demand for repair services following success in online sales of computers and replacement parts.

Moved from Marshall town to Rosebank and occupied Shop F10 on the first floor of The Zone @ Rosebank shopping mall. Covid hit a few weeks later forcing the shop to stop operations for months. Thankfully, we survived.
